INDEPENDENCE DAY
This year we spent the Fourth of July in Pleasant Grove at Grandma Fugal's home. I've really grown to love the small town feel of Pleasant Grove. Grandma's house never disappoints with a flourishing garden and beautiful mature orchard below with apples, peaches, pears, grapes and cherries. Every year we look forward to the harvest. In July, the raspberries are sweet, the carrots plump and the tomatoes juicy. The company, of course is fabulous.
My aunts and uncles on Susie's side are many. I cannot count how many cousins and second cousins there are. We get together. The kids play. We enjoy good food and tease and joke with one another. I'm so glad that my little family gets to be a part of the Fugal Clan!
